Hi all, hope all is well!

I was wandering if you could provide me with some input.

I am looking to upgrade my old yamaha receiver for a pre/pro. I am between the NAD T175HD, the Onkyo or the Integra. Could you please advice me which of these will be better.

Current equipment:
L/R speakers: Paradigm Studio 100 vs4
Center: Paradigm CC-390
4 Reaer speakers: Paradigm Titan Monitor vs5
Sunfire TGA5200: running 4 rear speakers
Sunfire Signature(405 watts p/chan): running the from three speakers
Sub: SVS PB12 Ultra
CD player: Emotiva ERC-1

I will be using for both music and HT.

Thanks

I too am looking at the NAD 175HD. My current amp is an NAD 316 I purchased 20 years ago. The rear speaker output has recently gone out, so I'm settling for 3.1 stereo for now as I cannot find a local shop that will look at it.

The Onkyo 5000 series seems to be the closest to NAD 175HD, and priced about the same - though the Onkyo can usually be found on sale.

There's no longer an NAD dealer in Cincinnati, so I have no way to compare the models directly and welcome what others think of the NAD.

    These are totally different beasts.

The Onkyo or Integra is going to give you a wonderful theater experience but running Paradigm Studio models your going to hate the Onkyo/Integra due to the slight edge in brightness. The Studio models also have this attribute so I feel they are a terrible mix.

The NAD Pre is pretty bad ****. I have been considering it myself. I like all that the current model offers. If I where to go back to separates again , I think NAD is going to get a serious listen and demo. As far as sound quality is concerned , this will give your Studio speakers a good run and tame the highs to a clear. NAD preamps sound great.

You will give up some cool features going NAD but you have to ask yourself whats more important sound quality or features.
