Ya, I read that in an earlier post. I don't live there, or have time to take zombie school. I am also an impulse kind of person, so likely they would call, and I would be on the side of a mountain (not really), or something. I just think it would be a hoot to be in the crowd. Can you imagine the fun. They call "Cut" and everyone starts to giggle.

I was lucky enough to be an extra for a zombie movie (one with a much lower budget) and it was a blast. Fortunately, filming for the scene I was in only took a day - so no lost time in that respect.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

Like I said... "low budget". Plus I was in the back of the crowd, so not long at all. Just enough to give the appearance of a zombie from a distance. My wife at the time spent more time in the makeup chair because she actually was featured predominately in one scene. I used that time to pound a couple beers at a bar a few blocks down with a few other extras.

Kind of cool walking into a place dressed as zombies and ordering a few rounds.

I've got big respect for zombies. They don't pretend to be something they are not. They mindlessly go about their day eating people. That's cool.

Just finished watching the pilot on hulu. Loved it. Then came here and read that the second episode is already out, only to notice hulu state "additional episodes will NOT be available for streaming." :frown:

The one thing that kept popping up in my mind during the first few scenes was "this is so L4D!!!!" Anybody else get that feeling during the hospital scenes?

If you have the On demand both episodes are on there.

I usually find horror movies to be extremely corny (especially newer ones), but I have definitely enjoyed the series so far. 28 days later was one of the very few horror films I was able to get in to. Which this film seems its trying to get at, though I guess this isn't really a virus.

Tonight should be interesting. I wonder if they'll reveal the wife has been tagging his partner, or will they they keep it a secret?

3rd episode in, I still like.

This episode was geared more towards character building and not much zombie action, but the story is strong. Hopefully we'll get more zombies in the upcoming episodes now that the story line is set.

It'll definitely come out. The main cop will end up getting with the woman who was with the group from the 2nd episode.

    Great series so far.

So far they have kept the story going. The cast seem believable which is vital to the series success. I find it a little hard to believe that the hospital is not surrounded by the drooling mob. If they could smell Rick and Glen during the rain, then why not all those people.

I think it's because the hospital is full of old people, and zombies respect their elders.

I missed most of the last 1/2 last night...

Not to give anything away, but did anything happen with the missing vehicle before the end of the episode?

    Yes or No will suffice.

Well, I shouldn't say I missed all of it. I missed bits and pieces, and caught others. Guess they're going to try and bring something "mystical" in with the digging?

One more episode to go. I've really enjoyed this show and am looking forward to next season. I watched the last episode last night, good stuff.

Pretty nasty when they showed them "finishing off" the zombies with the pick axe.

Hopefully this last episode will shed a little light on how the epidemic started, now that they have found the CDC.

There's a 6 hour marathon on tomorrow beginning at 4pm. The first 5 episodes will be shown leading to the season finale.

Finale definitely had a different feel to it, which I don't mind.

But question (maybe spoilers), nothing was said about the guy and his kid from the first episode, were they mentioned in an episode before and I missed it? If not I'm shocked they would leave that completely out, maybe to push people for a second season or something
