    Having heard some of Pass Labs best (The big ol Mono Blocks that weight 130 each, X600 or something...

    I can honestly say anything from them would be more of a lateral move than anything. The sound characteristics are very similar.

    You have to remember Odyssey is just Symphonic Line just rebadged and in some circles Symphonic Line is considered above Pass Labs - they have amp in a higher price bracket after all...

    Either way - Pass Labs makes great stuff and I would not discount it but I would have to spend a lot of money on amps to see any real difference from past experience.

    I am also a firm believer than most of your difference starts at the source, then the pre, then the amps...

    But my Odyssey's are Klaus's current TOTL (The Kismet series) - Mine are just in a Stratos case. It uses Symphonic Line parts and boards...
