Has anyone here had any experience with FatMat 50mill or 80mill.
I am looking at doing 100% of my car minus the headliner and im considering purchasing either the 50 or 80 mill, prob the 50 because i can do 2 coats if needed and prob still have plenty for my car + i will be able to get it in places that dont have much room for fitting panels.

Do you guys know of another alternative which is competitive with the fatmat. I know we've had this debate 100 times here.

Never tried FatMat but also look into Second Skin and Raamat. I used both, both are great. SS is on the pricy side but well worth it imo.

Well, ive used dynamat extreme and it was great where i put it.

just looking for something cheaper and the fatmat is CHEAP

fatmat is asphalt based last i checked...stay away from anything thats not 100% butyl.

Hushmat is 100% butyl and pretty cheap...check them out.

did you see their picture on ebay! looks good

everything seems pretty retarded expensive. dynamat bulk packs can be had for 130, with like 36 square feet, hushmat was more when i looked on a few sites.

Some sound deadening is better than no sound deadening. You could give the zilla stuff a try and see how it works out...then let me know...haha.
