$260 for a pair of RTi8's?
I came across a deal for a pair of mint RTi8 speakers, is this a good deal compared to the current market value of these speakers? Are there better deals out there for better speakers now?
Also, I currently have a CS2 center channel, will I be miserable with this pairing or will it be ok until I can afford something like a CSi5?

that's a bit more than half off retail. I've seen them for as low as 350 a pair new in the past.

I think that's a good deal on some great speakers, I would get a new center to match though.

Any speaker 1/2 off or more is a good deal if you like the speaker in question. Also it's a good deal if they are in good working order.Dan

I paid $250 for my cherry RTi8's a year ago as well. I think it is a good price.

Wouldnt a CSi5 be better for me to match the 6-1/2" together, or is it even noticeable? I'm still learning about matching speakers... (and every other aspect of speakers as well) :rolleyes:Monitor 70

Tweeter match is more important. I had a CSi3 with my 8s then went to a CSiA6 or whatever it is called, both have same tweeter. I think room size dictates which to go with.Speakers: SDA-1C (most all the goodies)
