Klipsch speakers are nice if yo like your face blownoff your head.They are also nice if you like left................right and no image.If you are going to use them as outdoor speaker's they are great(just keep them inside when it rains).But thats just my opnion.The rt800i's are nice speakers.go to a dealer that carries both like the Wiz in New Jersey and New York .I demo'ed both and I liked the Polk's much better but you need to hear it for yourself and make the call.

A few years back when my father was shopping for speakers we went and listened to some Klipsch speakers. I didn't know anything about audio back then, and I thought they sucked. They were totally lifeless-sounding and had little bass. Around the same time my girlfriend's dad bought a fancy surround system consisting of Klipsch speakers, but again I was totally unimpressed. He said he had always liked Klipsch speakers. To each his own, I guess. It was actually because of him and his system that I became interested in stereo and home theater systems. So I guess some good things can come out of Klipsch, just not sound.
