Right surround channel not working

The right rear channel on my Yamaha RX-V1200 is fading in and out. Sometimes I get no sound at all and only when I turn the receiver off and back on, do I get it to work. And even then, the output is low. I've tried switching out speaker wire as well as swapping surround speakers and it's definitely the receiver. For the time being, I am using my back up RX-V630(no issues at all).

I've opened up the receiver to see if something came loose but I have no idea what I'm looking at. Is this an easy fix or will I have to take it to the shop? If so, any idea what it might cost to fix something like this?

Thanks in advance.

Since you've already done and proven your cables and swapped speakers. From what you are describing it might simply be some cold joint on the IC output. Unless you are really good at soldering, you might want to take your receiver to a good repair shop. I can't imagine such repair costing more than 50 - 100$???
