I noticed you were running a 956 and a 960 Rotel.
Just looking at your setup, I was curious if you ever thought about changing the config. If I read right, you are running the 956 for the 3 front channels (bridged), and the 960 for the 2 rear channels.
While they are both great amps, and bridging the 956 brings you to the same power as the 960 on paper, the 960 is the better amp of the two. (higher damping, better s/n ratio, higher peak current)
My point is this, I would use the 960 on your mains and use the 3 bridged channels on the 956 for center and rear. With most of 'whats going on' in the movie being upfront, I would think you might 'kick it up a notch' by having the 'dual mono' 960 on the mains, (your largest speaker) and not having to share a power supply with the center also.
Just a thought, perhaps you've already tried it.

While having nothing to do this past weekend and the wife and kids not at home I did exactly what you suggesred and it sounded better the 600I's opened up a little better and got a little tighter, this is the way it will stay for now, looking to get a good pre, would like to stay with Rotel as the sound is great. Thanks for the suggestion Russman, and good looking out for a fellow polkster! any other suggestions are always welcomed.

Just when you think your done the upgrade bug drags you back for more, I really think that will be my next step, in due time I am sure all of the owners of the 1066 will lead me down this Rotel upgrade path.
