What will piss off the Verizon user is that CDMA can't do data and voice at the same time like on the GSM networks. Soooooo, if you get a phone call while you and your 4 friend are surfing the web on your moble hot spot, it will drop the hot spot so you can talk.

But, The Verizon network is superior.

Oh yes it is I will stand by using one at a time with no dropped calls rather than living with dropped calls.

Oh and just one more thing about iphone being official.

I thought a world phone meant it supported cdma and four gsm bands... I am probably wrong.

It technically is a penta-band (with wireless N) but to classify as a world phone it needs quad band GSM.

But it says "Existing customers will lose the perk when they renew their contracts (unless they renew before Jan. 16—but that date is well before iPhone orders will be taken)."

...so doesnt that mean existing customers that order the iPhone can still get it unless they renew before they can order it?
