I'd try to see if the store would throw one in for free, they usually will.

There's been lots of discussion and similar threads on here, probably best to read through some of those to at least narrow down your search (what options do you want, how much do you want to spend, etc)

If not I like the LG590 and the Panasonic 85k. These players are the best universal players out there(except Sacd and dvd audio).

Which sammy model you going with? The 7000 is very very nice, and so is the 8000. I think the 7000 is now around 2200 or so, and the 8000 came down from 3K something into the 2K range. Both great for LED's however I like them calibrated personally.

    Sony S360......100.00 at Sam's club. That's cheap.
I'm going to get one soon for my dining room TV.

450 reviews and 4.5 stars still.

I agree with Leroyjr1... there's co. putting these packages together everywhere now.
Most people just listen to music and watch movies. I EXPERIENCE them.

You could buy my bdp for $200 if you want as I'm getting a 3D model

Its the denon 2500btci ... it has stunning color and way better than your standard "Run of the mill" BDP's

GO WITH A SAMSUNG BLU PLAYER!

i have a Samsung LCD, and now am using a Samsung blu player.. and they work extremely well together. much better looking than my Panny I was using... keep the electronics from the same manufacture. you'll be glad you did.

one reason is that the remotes work for each other. blu remote works for TV and vice versa. turning on the blu player will also turn on the TV and switch it to to the right input for watching blu ray movies.

Plus each component talks to each other. it enables BD Wise.. with sets the TV pictures to the best possible settings for watching a movie. from the player to the TV.

I have been very happy with my Samsung TV and BR player. :)
