Crossover Upgrade Costs?

I have spent some time recently studying capacitors and crossover upgrades. My question has no right answer, but I would like to hear some feedback.
What do you believe is a good budget for upgrading crossovers?
The crossovers I would like to discuss are for the Monitor 10A and SDA 1C.
These are for minty speakers that will not be sold in the foreseeable future, so recovering expenses is not the concern. More important is doing this once, and doing it right!
The better quality capacitors get expensive very quickly! Is it reasonable for upgrading these older classic speakers to spend 50% of the used value on crossover upgrades? 100%? More?
Are the tweeter crossover circuits the most important for high quality capacitors?

You said it, there is no right answer. Spend what you are comfortable with and the entire circuit matters, IMO.Political Correctness'.........defined

Outfitter,
I just took the plunge on the upgrades and glad I did. It sounds amazing! F1nut told me I would be amazed and he was right! (Thanks F1nut BTW!) But Seriously Outfitter back to your question, only YOU can answer that. IMHO... If it is a SDA? Its gonna sound even better upgrading to more moderized parts.
Good luck and Post pics when and if you do them!

+1. Even on my limited audio budget I spent 1/4 of the speaker price on the capacitors and resistors. Totatly worth it.
IMO I would do the 1C's first.
Make sure you change the tweets to the RDO's as well.
