As promised I wanted to show you guys what I got for my B-day. BMW 7 series, fully loaded. The car does everything under the moon. I took the stock wheels off and added a set of 22's, 20% Window Tint, HID/LED Angel Eyes, K&N filter, and few more odds and ends. The wheels are staggered so I have 5.5 inch lip in the rear. I scored her used but in excellent condition with all 25K miles on the dash from an auction in Tokyo. The color is what really sold me, with the dark tan/black combo interior. I'll be putting 2 12" IDQs, Sundown 1500D, MTX REQ5 in it next week.

Ver nice car bro , I'm a huge BMW fan as I have grown up around and owned them myself.
but dude those wheels take away from the car. BBS or something classy would have looked better , I actually am a fan of Factory BMW wheels as they offer many others to choose from and still look factory. But thats my opinion and don't wanna take anything away bro. Performance upgrades I'm all in , tinting the windows when done right I like a lot.
Enjoy the car man , the best driving cars under the sun IMO

A true audiophile through and through!

I haven't heard ID's subs mentionned in a long time. That takes me back to my youth, trying to find car subs with SQ. Salesmen used to look at me like I was totally insane.

them: "Those subs aren't that loud, bro!"
me: "I know and I still want them"

Mantis I know where your coming from. BMW makes a ton of wheels, but I wanted some bigger. Almost went 24s, but thought way too much for a car like this. As for upgrades I have a few in mind, but this thing flies.

As for the auction it was an auction in Tokyo, lots of vehicles pass through. Getting a Soarer would be easy as are the parts, just not sure on shipping prices back to the US. I can look into this if your really interested and let you know.

let me get more of an **** shot. like the first pic, only from the 7 o'clock position as though you were standing from behind.

how wide are the wheels? any plans to smoke the taillights? where's the moonroof, though? thinkin' cross-drilled or slotted rotors, or would that look too busy with the dimpling around the outer rim?

what timing, aye? just read over at avs that jvc is releasing new 3d projectors that are claiming to be even brighter than the current crop...and for approximately the same price.

Funny guys, she is fully loaded and does have moonroof. Also has soft touch doors where you simply touch the door and it pulls the door completely shut, auto sunshades, auto wiper control, auto/memory cruise control, lazy boy seats where the bottom of the seats slides out from underneath you for even more comfort, heat and ac controlled seats, voice control, navi, dvd, tv, cd, cd changer, and so much other crap I could care less to type. It is indeed a fun car.

That totally trumps my birthday gift. My present was working a 4 to close on my birthday. Truthfully, I can't remember the last time I got a birthday present I thought those stopped at age 12.

You need to giver her a name.

Since she's Bavarian, maybe a German name.

How about "Katarina" as in Katarina Witt, the hawt German figure skater?
