Instant Home Theater front turns off

Last night we were watching a program when all of a sudden the front speaker bar stopped out putting sound, but the sub still produced sound. The only way to get it working was to turn off the bar and then back on. This happened twice on the same program. Changing channels did not produce sound so it was the bar not the program.
