new to the board....

I am in the process of finishing off my Home theatre system. I now have Onkyo SR600 6.1 Polk CS175 center, R40's for main l/R, Cambridge Soundworks Sub, and some old Bose 101 for Surrounds. Prices are falling at Circuit City/Crutchfield on the RTi series. I am contimplating the RTi 38, the CSi30, and the FX30's. I can not get them all at once so, I was looking for any advice on what set up might work best for the Front mains. Keep the R40's and wait till I can afford another set of towers replace them with the RTi38's, or just keep the rti38's as speakers for a seperate room.

any ideas/advice would be appreciated
Shawn

I have that setup, and just so you know, it works great :)

Would you be into looking for a set of RTi70's at CC? Then you could upgrade your mains, still a tower, and move the R40's into surround duty.

Then I would probably get the CSi30/40 and then your front stage is complete. FXi30's last.

This just happens to be what I did, just with RTi38's as my mains. You will get a little more bass from the RTi70's then you will with RTi38's as mains. The sub is probably the last and largest investment I would suggest. Do a search on the forum at that time, there is alot of information for sub purchase, no need to expound upon that here.
CTC BBQ Amplifier, Sonic Frontiers Line3 Pre-Amplifier and Wadia 581 SACD player. Speakers? Always changing but for now, Mission Argonauts I picked up for $50 bucks, mint.
