Speaker Selection
I CURRENTLY HAVE THE FOLLOWING SETUP;
RECEIVER DENON 3802
SPEAKERS POLK RT 55 (FRONT)
POLK CS400 (CENTER)
BIC V-1200 (POWERED SUBWOOFER)
RM3000 WITH PASSIVE SUBWOOFER (REAR)
I'M CONSIDERING TWO OPTIONS TO ENHANCE MY SYSTEM.ONE IS TO ADD A REAR CENTER SPEAKER TO GO TO A 6-1 SYSTEM OR THE OTHER IS TO ADD TWO SIDE SPEAKERS TO GO TO A 7-1 SYSTEM.DOES ANYONE HAVE ADVISE ON THE BEST WAY TO GO AND ALSO THE BEST SPEAKER(S) TO GET IF I GO WITH A 6-1 OR 7-1 SYSTEM? THANKS IN ADVANCE FOR YOUR HELP.

Here's what you do....
Move the rm system to surround back duty,then buy a pair of FX/500 of sorts you can find.Place the fx's on the side wall and the rms on the back wall.Job well done.The Denon has the ability to drive to speakers for surround back,I suggest you use it that way. Personally I feel 2 monos sound better then a single centerchannel speaker not to mention placement issues along with mounting issues.Monos with keyhole slots are so much easier.Dan
