speaker placement ?
hey guys, maybe a stupid question about surround height placement? the higher the better or 2' to 3' above ear level optimal? thanks for the replies also which would you used for surround back pair of f/x1000 or f/x500?

Yes, 2' to 3' above ear level is the correct height for surrounds. The following link is great information which might help. Enjoy.

Depending on the room,where you sit,placement of the mains,etc....I like to start with 72 inches from the floor and work my way from there....or use that height as a referenceDan

what about a surround center channel as in a 6.1 system? also would u need to angle this at the listening position like you would with the front center channel?
and are rear centers that nice or is 5.1 better? -
