    Internet Explorer sucks.

I don't see how anyone uses that browser.

Trey the only other browser I've ever used was Netscape (UGH!) but I really have no problems with IE. However, you never know what your missing until ya try out others.

Yeah, I mean I gotta say, the lack of built-in spell check is one big problem with IE. It also can be kind of sluggish compared to other browsers.

IE is just like windows - bloated. To many "options" (aka, useless options), to meany "features" (aka, useless features) and to many patches, for instance the spell checker attachment...

Chrome has no "options or features" or "patches" or extraneous toolbars or search bars or... anything extraneous really...

It loads fast, each tab is its own process instead of bloating up a single process so if one errors out it does not totally crash...

I dont know - IE is cumbersome to me in comparison.

Yes IE is bloated but if you customize it and get rid of all the crap and just leave the menu bar and set google as you search engine, it loads rather quickly and is easy to use.

All browsers are "easy to use." It's what else they bring to the table that differentiates. As far as I can tell, the only thing IE brings to the table is viruses.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Can you fill me in on what else another browser would bring to the table that IE doesn't. I'm always open to better.

I haven't used IE in a while, so I'm not sure if t hey've added anything, BUT, but the big thing keeping me with Firefox / Chrome is EXTENSIONS. Especially with Firefox, you can find an extension to do ANYTHING. Sync your bookmarks between multiple computers? Show you the weather in your statusbar? Block ads? Block flash? Notify you of new email?

I also in general find other browsers faster, and I like the fact that pretty much every browser but IE actually sticks to the web standards rather than being a bunch of hacks, but I realize that's a nerd thing.

At the very least, try them out for a few weeks, try and get the full experience, and if you don't like it switch back.

I don't need spell check, spell check needs me.

I have seen some pretty easy words misspelled in the spell check, at least you can add the correct spelling. I hate the abbreviated textees kspelling of stuff in spell check, no wonder today's kids can't spell or know the difference between there they're and their, or the fact that their is more than two ways to spell too. And no 2 does not replace all of them either.

Wow... You guys are making the same points about grammar that I do to most people my age. Maybe you can tell me, from an outsider's perspective, what is wrong with generation? Have we somehow neutered our education system, or what? To whom can blame be ascribed? *grumble, grumble*

Firefox is great for spell checking, except for some reason, it never checks my thread titles... and that would embarrass me more than a typo inside the thread somewhere.
