Never thought it would happen but I've been banned from a forum. The EMO lounge kicked me to the curb for expressing an opinion. They wanted to do a "group hug" for some guy and I said I thought it was disgusting and got banned...

I thought the UMC1 could have been a nice addition to my HT. Good thing I didn't spend any money there. The piece has a lot to be desired if one follows the threads.

EMO won't let me in to do anything. The notice says I've been banned. Can't link to anything, at least I don't know how! No loss to me, just found it surprising!

Gordon! That was you that got banned over there?? I sent you a PM on that forum a little bit ago under a different name and due to their way of thinking hardly ever go there now. They have certain ways of thinking and if you don't agree your often booted.

Chris, I owe you an apology. Forgot about your PM. Check it in the late morning for a real answer. Too much red tonight to give you a real response. Yep, it was me who got banned tonight. I thought a certain comment was disgusting and over the top, even for a fanboy and got banned.

Get over it, it happens to even cool ppl from time to time. You never know the behind the scenes action, nor should you really since it's discretion based....and if it's permanent then perhaps you should re-evaluate your delivery...I guess.

Polkies have been banned from here, and returned, sometimes for even worse misconduct, sometimes for better...sorta contributing, blah blah but it's the nature of corporate based forum activity.

I remember the owner of a very active website, who contacted me(2009) after he read a negative post that I made about his website via search function and since I was a corporate member...why he should not ban me immediately. Yes, I spoke my opinion and stated my case that his website was uncool HERE on CP. The only thing that had to be said between us was, that post was from 3-4 years ago, seriously?

We all grow and learn in this hobby and if you don't, why are you here, why bother? I didn't retract my comments upon discussion but the owner took the time to contact me directly, not react, just ask why and I respect that kind of audionut. The subsequent dialogue we had about the overall situation was excellent and not only positive but I've been a reader of the website ever since.

You never know, take some time off, ride a bike, punch a neighbor for no reason then tell him you just bought some kick **** rib eye steaks for the BBQ then start laughing like a crazy person and piss yourself....the world is your oyster.
