I don't know about you guys, but this is one of my favorite movies of all time. I consider this movie to actually be scary, escpecially in DTS. It's not that fake gore that you usually see in "horror" flicks. It's kinda like a silence of the lambs type movie.
Anyhow, this is an older movie, by David Fincher..it's fantastic and you should check out the newer version asap. Also try The Game, by Fincher as well.

This DTSES version has been out for a few years now (New Line Platinum Series).

Agreed with the sound. Especially the rain that continues throughout the movie.

Probably not on my Top list, but I liked it a lot. Very strong story/ script, and Freeman and Spacey were excellent.More later,
Tour...

This will be out on Blu-Ray on September 14th. Hopefully the do this movie up well, because I'm dying for this one in HD. One of my all time favorite movies.

Wow, 7+ years since you started this thread. Scary. If you will it, dude, it is no dream.

Yep, one of the best films and I prefer it over Silence of the Lambs. The ride out to the desert culminating to that shocker of an ending is one of my favorite cinematic endings. Looking forward to the Blu-ray.

yep have pre-ordered it already.

I hate "know it all" serial killers. If the guy's so smart, why bother with all this messy business. Just doesn't make sense.
But as an homage to BLADE RUNNER, this and THE GAME (where's a "special edition" DVD of that?!) both show Fincher as a stellar director, one of the best of the young director crowd, and I'll watch anything he does, even when it sucks. (Like BENJAMIN BUTTON.)
Yep, I hate "know it all" serial killers.
