Black Swan

You certainly watched it well enough with those details. I think maybe you hate the way the movie was made more than hating the movie. I did start this actually once just to see how it went, and my wife was in one of those moods so I turned it after like, 3 minutes. It seemed to have good cinematography though.
As long as it has a structured plot that moves it's worth a shot. I just saw a really bad movie that had 4 stars from rotten tomatoes, and it was awful. The whole time I was waiting for some reason for me to be drawn in, or to even care to what happens next.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- sl9 surround backNHTsuper1's surroundMagnepan SMGParasound 1500pre- Sofia "Baby" tube amp - Monitor Audio Silver RX2 Marantz 2230/B&Kst140Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe -

No, I just pay attention.
I really do hate the movie.
I watched it twice thinking I missed something somewhere along the lines that would have clued me in but...I didn't.
And since I just spoiled the ending for everyone now they don't have to watch it either.Expert Moron Extraordinaire

Ha ha, no you didn't spoil it for me, you gave a great review to which using my own thinking to see its not my cup of movie and possibly not my wife's either. Saved me a couple hours. If i do watch it I'll keep it in perspective so I won't be disappointed.Polk Audio SDA CRS+ crossover 4.1TL by Trey/VR3 (Rings and custom stand by Larry)-Polk Audio SDA SRS2 crossovers by Trey/VR3Parasound HCA1500aYamaha rxa-3070 with musicast-Celestion SL6S presence,- sl9 surround backNHTsuper1's surroundMagnepan SMGParasound 1500pre- Sofia "Baby" tube amp - Monitor Audio Silver RX2 Marantz 2230/B&Kst140Technics 1200mk2 Gamertag: IslandBerserker I am but a infinitesimally small point meeting the line of infinity in the SDA universe

What a load of malarkey!
It had nothing to do with an "inside look at the world of ballet". If that had anything to do with the reality behind ballet then "Top Gun" is a freakin' documentary.

"Black Swan" is garbage. Don't waste your time."He who fights with monsters should look to it that he himself does not become a monster. And when you gaze long into an abyss the abyss also gazes into you." Friedrich Nietzsche -

Gonna go with Zombie on this. I liked this movie a lot and actually bought the Blu Ray. Very well done!
With regard to the scene with Portman and Kunis in bed...only nerds living in their parents basement and have never kissed a girl would get all bent out of shape over this! Far too overhyped! It was a good scene in the context of the movie. No excuses! -
I did not find it hard to follow and enjoyed it. To each their own.

Wild Things with Denise Richards in the pool - Also, a good flick apart from the hot women.
Black Swan I hated. It seemed to me that the director and script writer simply wanted to trick the audience with all the psycho drama BS, scenes that happened only in NP's mind, etc. Cheap and manipulative."Science is suppose to explain observations not dismiss them as impossible" - Norm on AA; 2.3TL's w/sonicaps/mills/jantzen inductors, Gimpod's boards, Lg Solen SDA inductors, RD-0198's, MW's dynamatted, Armaflex speaker gaskets, H-nuts, brass spikes, Cardas CCGR BP's, upgraded IC Cable, Black Hole Damping Sheet strips, interior of cabinets sealed with Loctite Power Grab, AI-1 interface with 1000VA A-L transformer -

Finally saw it...a well made movie, such as this, can keep the audience on the edge of their regardless of the subject matter (ballet?). Throw in some hot chick action, and you are good to go. Best of all, it wasn't your standard movie plot which is re-used endlessly in the majority of flicks these days.

This movie was amazing! I had no idea that I was walking into a horror thriller. All you guys who didn't like it are just a bunch of cursing sons of curse words with short attention spans and a love affair with adam sandler films.

More people with decent taste.
If you're looking for another sleeper thriller that the Adam Sandler set won't get, take a look at Cracks. After I first watched it I thought I disliked it, but really I was just so disturbed by it that I was disliking the fact that I was disturbed. But it truly is a memorable film. Stars Eva Green, and there is some nudity.
