Recently purchased a pair of SDA1s with pin/blade and a pair of SDA2b with pin/pin. Need the above cables to hear them perform to their full potential.

Good luck with your sell !"I did not slap you. I high-fived your face."

Just so no one gets confused in the future. SDA1's do not use a pin/blade cable and there is no such thing as a pin/pin cable.Political Correctness'.........defined

"Kindly" put Jesse. I haven't got the eyes fully opened up yet and I was a bit surprised with your reply. I had to re-read and shake my head a time or two to digest your answer. LOL! -
I appreciate the warm welcome and any assistance in obtaining either: original cables which are PIN/BLADE and BLADE/BLADE, a third party vendor or fabricator, or instructions on how to fabricate my own. I thank everyone in advance

I made the mistake of indicating the SDA2s required a pin/pin instead of a blade/blade Interconnect cable, and confirmed my SDA1s require a "Pin/Blade" interconnect cable.
-
You can order a blade/blade interconnect cable from polk. Around $35-$40. Not sure about the pin/blade. If you give them a call I'm sure they will point you in the right direction.
-
You will have to find a used pin/blade or make your own. Polk will only get you the blade/blade.
-
A member just contacted me and I have the "Pin/Blade" Interconnect for the SDA1s, Many Thanks Glen! Still need the Blade/Blade for the SDA2s.
-
WOW! Just read TOOLFORLIFEFAN's and W-coyote's responses. I will order on Monday and will soon be able to test these babies out. Many thanks guys!

The SDA1's do not use a pin/blade cable, so you must have a different model. Post a picture of the speaker and the terminal socket.Political Correctness'.........defined

F1nut: As a polk newbie coming from the dark side (Klipsch), I appreciate your many years of wisdom and input. Here is the vital info on the SDA1s:
Printed: Serial Number L SDA1 7746 & R SDA1 8073
Engraved: 265-61-2831 (on Both L and R)
Please interpret.
Pic # 1 is the label on the back of the SDA1 label
Pic #2 shows the Pin/Blade connection
Pic #3 shows the label on the back of the SDA2
Pic #4 shows the blade/blade (not pin/pin) connection
Pic #5 shows both SDA1 and SDA 2 side by side
Pic #6 shows both, closer view of the labels on SDA1 and SDA2 side by side
Pic #7 shows the front of both SDA1 and SDA2
Speakers are in a climate control storage facility and photos taken with a Nikon D90 camera.
I intend to power the SDA1s with a Nakamichi PA-5 Amp and CA-5ii preamp (purchased from original owner along with the SDA1s and a Nakamichi CR-3 cassette).
I intend to power the SDA2s with a Marantz 170DC amp and 3200 preamp -
Here are cropped photos of the Left SDA1:

Ok, now we're cooking with gas.
The SDA 1 is actually the SDA 1B. I've never seen one with a pin/blade socket, but knowing Polk, I shouldn't be surprised. It must have been at the end of that models production run.
The SDA 2 appears to me to be the SDA 2A that is missing the small platform base. It would look just like the platform base on your SDA 1A's.
Make sure that your amps are common ground and that they are rated to drive 4 ohm loads.
Congrats on your new toys.Political Correctness'.........defined

The SDA1s were powered by the Nakamichi gear for years by the original owner and I purchased the entire setup to ensure compatibility and continuity. In regards to the SDA2s if the Marantz 170 DC doesn;t work out, I have a Marantz 140 and a ton of other "old Skool" gear to choose from to get it right.

Got a thing for Marantz I see.
No offense, but have you considering selling all those receivers and putting that money towards some nice separates, maybe even some tube gear?Political Correctness'.........defined

F1nut now i know you've probably forgotten more about the SDA's then i'll ever learn but actually i think your wrong on both counts,The SDA1's do not use a pin/blade cable, so you must have a different model. Post a picture of the speaker and the terminal socket.
The SDA 1C's were the only one's of the SDA 1 series (Except for a transitional model of SDA 1C's which used a blade/blade SDA interconnect cable and SDA 1B style cabinets which these aren't) to use the pin/blade all the others (1, 1A, 1B) used blade/blade interlink cable. The SDA 1 is actually the SDA 1B. I've never seen one with a pin/blade socket, but knowing Polk, I shouldn't be surprised. It must have been at the end of that models production run.
I think there SDA 1C Studio's (They look exactly like my 1C Studio's) to be sure just remove one of the 6 1/2in drivers and if it's a MW6509 there 1B's if it's a MW6510 or MW6511 there 1C's.“The two most important days in your life are the day you are born and the day you find out why.” ~ Mark Twain
