REGARDS SNOW
Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Heh... I think I've got most of these down reasonably well... As for the shopping thing, my impatience manifests itself in the form of buying everything she looks at and telling her to take back what she doesn't like.

My wife is under the misconception that the recently completed downstairs room is for her to set up drying racks for her delicates, and for the kids to trash with ouchy game pieces to be discovered with bare feet. My intension was for an AV room sporting the soon to be freshly refurbished SDA1 Signature speakers currently dismembered and awaiting new cherry wood veneer in my garage.

    Any suggestions?

So the room should sit unused until your INTENDED use of the room happens?

If you had had your refurbished speakers DONE and ready to put into the room BEFORE you completed the room, you wouldn't be on here moaning and groaning about her & the kids using an empty room.

Until you are actually ready to set up the room for it's supposed intended purpose, you don't have a leg to stand on.:D
