I saw the first trailer, and it looked pretty good. Now it looks even better!

I have one requirement for a film, and it is this...did it entertain me?

Skyline did in spades. This film starts with action, and ends with action with some of the best effects to make it possible. I was completely entertained and on the edge of my seat the entire 90 minutes. Guys, this is the definition of popcorn entertainment. Was the acting perfect? No. Were the effects perfect? No. Storyline, ummmm, it didn't have one. But so what.

THIS is my kinda film and exactly why I raise my middle finger to all those Roger Ebert's out there. And to those guys I say, turn your brain off and try and enjoy, escape into a film for once instead of analyzing it to death. Movies were meant as an escape, try it, and maybe, just maybe you'll actually find why films are made.

This one gets an A+ from me!

Sucks! Not a real SCiFi action movie and kinda boring in places. I bought it according to what was said here in the reviews, but in the end, don't buy and rent it. you will only watch in once.

I hated it. One of the worst movies I ever saw. I'd rather watch Battle: LA and even that wasn't an amazing movie.

Brain snatcher aliens? Can't get much worse than that lol.

    I watched it yesterday...

While the special effects were great and the surround sound the plot/acting really hit bottom.

I realize this movie was not designed as an instructional video on how to survive an alien invasion.

But when a movie falls into the category of "Oopps, the girl fell down and now the hero has to wait for her", well ....

About a gazillion and a half times throughout the movie, somebody gets chomped up and what do the other knuckleheads do who are standing around ? What's their response ?

"Oh, no. Noooooooo ...... noooooo !!"

Okay, maybe the first couple thousand times might be acceptable. But after that, it's definitely time to learn that the Matrix-WOTW bug faces don't respond to "Noooooooooooo !"

And the ending was designed as a "cliffhanger", pointing to a sequel ?
Guess that'll take place in DC and will be called, "BeltLine" ?

Think that was bad ? So was this movie.
