Yes, you can use those words in the same sentence. A lady actually went after an employee and then broke the drive thru window because she wanted mcnuggets during breakfast hours...

Here's the uncut version showing the entire incident

http://www.thepittsburghchannel.com/video/24572107/index.html

I have to admit though, after a good night of drinking, mcnuggets really do hit the spot

They close the window as Dushane tries to push it open - but she then breaks it with an object she takes out of her car.

The passenger's mother says it was the employees who allowed it all to escalate.

I'm at a loss for words.

    agreed.

    just wow, really?

well I guess same has happened around here. We have a late night pizza place down in the bar area and someone just about threw a chair through the window of the place because they closed and the guy still wanted pizza after bar close.

The police kindly stopped him after he threw the beer bottle and then picked up the chair...

    Yeah, I agree.

After seeing Jamie Oliver's Food Revolution [either the first or second episode] and seeing them demonstrate exactly how and what they make a chicken nugget out of, I haven't so much as even desired a chicken nugget from any company. It's amazing how when you see how some things are made, you just get grossed out even thinking about the idea of actually putting what they make them out of in your mouth.

I understand to a point. but even when you think of eating a burger. Would you feel fine if you personally would cut the meat directly off the cow, then grind it, would you be perfectly fine eating it then?

Some people are vegetarians for just that reason, they look at a chicken leg not as a tasty meal, but an animal leg chopped off and that gross's them out. I don't bother thinking of it that way.

I understand chicken nuggets are processed differently and thats where you are getting at, but as long as its not going to get you sick and tastes good, does it really matter THAT much?

AbsoF'nlutely! Fresh ground meat is the secret to a great hamburger!

Eh, meat is a required part of a balanced diet if you ask me. It's a raw and natural instinct for a human to yearn to eat meat. Point is, there are parts of that cut off leg that most humans would consider "inedible". It's the inedible parts that make up the whole of a chicken nugget. THAT, to me, is disgusting

Yeah, that absolutely blew my mind. I haven't touched a nugget ever since and I will admit, I ate nuggets like they were going out of style up until that episode. The only nugget I will ever eat from now on will be a cut from a chicken breast I make and fry myself.

That's mostly a societal thing - we're separated from where our food comes from. In "olden times" everyone knew how to kill their own food, and had seen a cow or chicken or pig slaughtered and realized that that was dinner. And I have a feeling there were fewer vegetarians. The problem comes from the fact that even most people who eat meat just kind of think of it as something that comes from a store, and then we have movies like "Babe : Pig in the City", so there's this dichotomy between "food" and "animals."

Actually we do need someone locking this thread or worse. Racial insults have no place in a public forum period. Saying that it is a joke doesnt make it better or any less offensive. If you were any other color than white and have been subjected to insults and ridicule then you wouldndt find it funny either. If it isnt something that you would say in an all Black bar as a joke and expect people to laugh then maybe it really isnt funny after all,

I assure you if Zero was face to face with me he wouldndt be making any racial comments or jokes, why should it be any different online?

Because alot of people like to talk behind the keyboard. In public it's a different story. As for the joke, it was and is out of place. It's just an old joke that the blacks love chicken. I'm black, and I like chicken so there.

As for nuggets they serve them in Japan during breakfast hours. Tell that chick to move overseas and she'd be good.

I never said for one second it was funny, and I wasn't trying to pretend it wasn't a big deal, its just the thread got completely sidetracked cause of one post. You should definitely report the post and see how the mods feel about it. If they think a ban needs to be in place, more power to them.

That's right, it is only socially acceptability to make fun of Caucasians. Yeah snow, I know that's not what you are saying. I don't care what color you are, as long as you know how to speak and use at least close to English. I don't care what jokes you make, just better be able to take it in return. Insults, ridicule try being French/German?polish and Irish, your the butt of everyone's jokes. I'm not white, black, or any other color in between, I'm an American.
