Help please Guys - Biwire question

I have the RTi70 speakers, the Onkyo SR800 receiver and I just got the Monster Biwire Z2 cable with the monster lock pin endings.
The lock pin wont fit into both the RTi 70 or receivers binding post.
Am I doing something wrong, if not, is there a connector that I can buy to fit onto speaker wire ends that would fit into speaker and receivers binding post?

Monster sells 'connectors' to screw onto those 'pins'.
Choose pin, spade, or banana, I think they run around $20 for a set of 4.

Russ is right again.
yeah the moster locks are just the connector to the bi wire.. you then need to purchase whatever connector type you like. at an additional cost. like Russ said.. banana plugs, spades, or pins. I use banana. they're the fastest to disconnect when needed.PolkFest 2012, who's going>?

I think I've got a bunch of the pin style connectors from the M1.4 bi-wire set I bought from Mantis.
Let me know how many you need (if you are interested) and we'll work a deal better than $20/4.

You have a bunch of Banana and spade type from me.These will work for yeah.Banana is the key. Most av receivers don't like anything else....the pins are for spring clips.Dan

Hey Doc-
If zebmaster doesn't buy any of your monster connectors, I will be needing some pretty soon. Several runs of z2's became mine after my dad upgraded but took the connectors.
Let me know.
Thanks a lot.

I have eleven (11) banana plug screw on connectors for the Monster Cable system.
It's an odd number, but that's what I've got left.

My M1.4 system is already connected (obviously) with spade connectors on the speaks, and banana plugs at the 3803 - so I'm all set.
Dan was obviously very generous by including a bunch of both styles so I could hook up as needed.
Parts Express sells for $12.50/pr + s/h. If I had twelve (12) it would be perfect since you would need two (2) per each channel at the amp. But I'm missing one. Sorry.
For a Club Polk member, my offers stands to beat by a good margin the lowest on-line price anyone can find.
