So, Melisa is probably going to have to live with the guilt, as it looks like Green was a putz who started a fight with a man with a gun. Green was wearing shorts and failed to get in to a nightclub, but should have been wearing a bullet proof vest. But, Green was still a putz. They claim he did nothing wrong with not helping a pregnant woman and her baby, who both died. Yet, he and Melisa, the two EMT's still got suspended. That wasn't for nothing. Sure enough, Melisa will be looking over her back for awhile.
I can only think of that first movie in the series, where that girl steps off the curb and gets whacked by that bus.

I can do this also, I'll suggest that you confront the reporter/writer of the copy and, what the Hell...... take a run at the publisher/publishers of said misinformation.I didn't write it, I only re-posted it here. It was posted on several other audio forums that I know of, and probably hundreds of other ones too. As for Jesse.....he is usually THE FIRST to post up controversial articles, the **** prom couple comes to mind as just one example, AFAIK there is no one more judgemental or ready to throw stones than him, here or anywhere else for that matter! I'm sorry you lost a friend/co-worker and I hope for the sake of his eternal soul that he did not do what what was said.

I believe that he was referring to your belief that it was true without any actual knowlelge of said events, posting something is one thing but attesting to its validity simply because it "supposedly" happened in NY city is an entirely different matter, read post#8. What if this had "supposedly" occured in some little town in Vermont or Kansas or wherever you feel good people live, would you be so quick to an assumption of truth then?

    Trust me Evil is everywhere.

Well, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all :D

Ah so then you assume that if it is is bad then it most likely actually occured?

You know I hate to judge others even sometimes when the evidence is right in front of me, I like to give people the benefit of the doubt if at all possible. If you become so jaded that you start to think the worst of everyone then you become a very miserable person and there is little happiness in life which is a sad way to live your life being so miserable and full of spite and anger.

To be happy that three lifes were extingushed no matter if it was Fate Karma or just plain happenstance is sad.
    Karma really is real! ;)
And certainly not for me to judge. I dont feel I have that right and IMHO neither should you.

I think his comment about NYC was from his personal experience, but I don't think he's using that as to validate the story. He used the news article for that, which multiple sources say the same thing.

I guess it would be more intelligent to say all of our news reports are inaccurate, and not to believe anything until I do a personal investigation.

However I don't agree with the premature comments of saying he got what he deserved, simply because all the facts haven't been stated hence the investigation.

Yes, at times, one does forget how the media blows things out of proportion.
I mean no offense and apologize for any comments that may have offended anyone.
The media has mostly bad news in many areas of the country, and sometimes get caught up without looking at things with more open eyes and neutrality.
    Again, my apologies.

My statement about rural Kansas was only in response to the above statement. As for NYC.....the historical stats can speak for themselves, all I can say on a personal level is that the seven or eight times that I've gone to the 5 "burrows" were not a comfortable or pleasant experience for me and that I won't repeat it! (if avoidable ;))

Guys,, I work with EMT's/Paramedics on a daily basis,,one of my best friends is the EMS director, first,EMT's are a special kinda' folks-- they aint' doing it for the money.I would find it hard to believe that any of our crews would walk out on someone in need,,it would be just the opposite. So ,,as much as you might want to pass judgement and say "karma came a knockin'",, there may be more to the story than meets the eye.Oh,, and BTW--EMT's get accused of all kinds of things while doing their jobs,,from parking on someones grass when responding to a call,,to causing additional injuries when rendering care,, go figure,,, walking out on someone in need,,, I just don't see that. All for know
JC approves....he told me so. (F-1 nut)
