    Even though the jig that comes with my tonearm is great, it doesn't allow for all the tweeking and setup that this does;

    I think $225 is a little high but I'm sure the price will come down or can be haggled down and if taken care of will last forever.

    Joe this may sound stupid but if say one person was to buy it, don't you think you could easily replicate that same device? example just get the measurements down and I think from the looks of it it wouldn't be too hard to do. Not sure if that would work or not but if someone wasn't able to afford their asking it could posibbly work..

    I have the original Feickert. Bought it in depreciation status on the 'gon. It came in very handy with all the table/arm combinations I tried, especially for C to C with articulated armboards and/or marking for drilling.

    The Mint Best Tractor is very highly regarded for half the money. It is made for a specific combination.

    Would you like to come to WI? lol I haven't tried a different cartridge on my TT yet due to fear that I'm going to do it incorrectly!

    Sure, you could do that with lots of things but there may be patent infringement to take into consideration, not that you'd be out selling them but. . . . one other thing, I would think you would need to go to a machine shop to get it done and from my experience with machines shops when I was working on my clamp, they want proof that there isn't already a patent on any part or the device as a whole before they would do the work.

    Ask Larry about that, he sure would know.
