You know what's really annoying? When people come to Polk Audio's website and ask for recommendations on speakers, amplifiers or something else Polk Audio sells and get offended when a Polk Audio product is offered as a solution.

You know what is even more annoying? When people come to a Polk Audio site and ask for suggestions on gear and NO ONE bothers to suggest a Polk Audio product.

You know what is even more annoying than that? When someone asks for suggestions, gives certain limitations like "I need a car but I can't spend more than $20K" and they get suggestions like "Hey! Buy an Audi! It's really great!" or "Hey, that new Lexus is really sharp, you should get one of those!" Yeah, didja even read the question, genius?

Yeah, that stuff bugs me...among other things.

    Flies in my house

    and

How every other Ebay/audiogon posting for audio gear states "Only used lightly in my personal system" or "Has been in storage and hardley used in the past 5 years"....while I am sure some of these are TRUE, I am guessing most are BS...

BTW, I have a 2000.00 budget, and was wondering if someone could recommend some nice, musical non-Polk brand speakers for my second system I am building ;)

How about when someone comes on the forum with a question, the question gets answered by numerous people then the OP gets pist off because it's not what he wants to hear then starts another thread asking the same question then when people point out to him that his questions were answered in the first thread, he starts attacking the forum collective! UGH!!!

Or how about someone opening a 2 year old McIntosh thread and
posting "I've got this amp for sale" in it. Yeah, I'm gonna jump all over
    that deal.

...every conference call/meeting on Monday starts with a 10 minute group discussion on what happened over the weekend and how rough Monday's are (case of the Monday's...thanks Office Space)....

Of course, it's just bitching without a proposed solution. How about immediate termination for anyone who still thinks it is funny to say "case of the Monday's", and a red card for anyone who feels it is appropriate to discuss the "weekend activities" with coworkers after 7:30AM?

    Get out of my head!

They all say the same lame jokes too!

Then they all wonder why the meetings run over time.

I will give a pass on lunch time though. They can talk about whatever they want and if I don;t want to listen to it then, I can go someplace else for lunch. I'm not stuck in a meeting.

Poor design, bad co2 mix for my diet coke in fountain form, ridiculous overly happy people (that make you want to punch them in the face), people that don't respect things because it's not "theirs," bogeys, double bogeys, (and sadly) triple bogeys, people who think that in the rain the gas pedal actually disappears, call centers where english is barely a requirement, being on hold and hearing "your call is very important to us" every 15 seconds.......if it was that &*^%&*^%&* important you'd answer my call $)(*& P$*&I$O*^)$, having people repeat exactly what i just said as a question back to me as if to imply somehow I was completely unaware of what JUST came out of my mouth, humidity, allergies, incompetance, layovers, airports that shut down with simple rain (atlanta), regional jets, overly hormonal people, speeding tickets from airplanes or helicopters, metrosexuals, comcast, most things sony, policies just for the sake of having them - sense non-present, people who don't take their meds, UPS, weakly made products, particle board

More to come I'm sure....... :D

Oh God, let me not get into this, my response would be pretty long. Only a few that are relevant to the forum/audio:

Elitism in hi-fi, brand-bashing, arguing over who hears what and people getting into fights about pieces of wire, closed-minded people, magnet shift in the MW drivers, a lack of avatars, and being a college student who can't afford a lot of the sweet deals on CP.

    And the Dutch.

Maybe you don't have the funds, or maybe your significant other has your balls in a jar on the mantle....we really don't need to know. If you can't resist giving the seller a free bump or feel the need to express your emotional approval of the speakers, write something nice and move on.

I hate it when people on internet forums feel it is necessary to post "Repost"! Who cares if it was posted before! When they watch tv in the summer do they feel they need to call the network and scream "RERUN" every time a program is rerun?

I hate passive-aggressive, lazy co-workers... Wanna know why you don't get promoted? You don't do what you're told, and if you do, you whine and drag your feet so much that everyone hates working with you... You ever think that might be why you aren't a part owner yet?

Here's one; you're driving on a highspeed highway. Some jerk is camped out in the passing lane. You flick your lights to let him/her know you want to pass. So what does the jerk do, stay neck & neck with the car next to them to block you out but that's not the worst of it. When the jackleg finally gets past the car on the right and there is space for you to go around said jerk, he/she speeds up to make it difficult for you to pass on the right. The worst part is when you finally do punch it to get around the AH he drops speed and goes right on camping out in the passing lane! UGH!!!

I was thinking of starting a small buisness making speaker stands, amp stands,ya know, when you can get the granite for free, it has potential.
