Posts: 4 subwoofer: pws125 vs infinity PS212
Hi All:
I have purchased RC80is as my front wall speakers in my 2nd home theater setup in my 900 ft basemen. I also went with a CS20 as my central channel and the Infinity PS212 as a subwoofer.
Which gauge speaker wire would you recommend I go with. 12 gauge or 14? Will I notice the difference?
Thanks,
A novice

If it going in the wall, then in-wall wire. If not, then 16au if fine.

Thank you. my installer has in wall wire plus speaker wire for the central channel and the sub. I assume the lower the number 16,14, 12 the better the wire? If so, I guess you mean that 16 is sufficient.

I would try different guages and see what sounds best to you. Some like really thin while others like thick. It will change the the sound going from thin to thick.Sunfire TGP, Sunfire Cinema Grand, Sunfire 300~2 (2), Sunfire True Sub (2),Carver ALS Platinum, Carver AL III, TFM-55, C-19, C-9, TX-8, SDA-490t, SDA-390t
