What is the difference between diagnosing and troubleshooting in computers?

I know that these two were generally connected but there must be at least a difference or a specific difference between the two. That is what i want to know. Can you please help me explain this matter? Thanks a lot for your ideas.

    It's the same thing. Are you thinking maybe of running a diagnostic? That's software that tests the system and is used as a step in trouble shooting.

    the easiest way that i know to explain it is that diagnosing is determining what is the problem and troubleshooting is working to fix the problem. Hope that helps.

    Diagnosing is figuring out what is causing the trouble.
    Trouble shooting is when your computer has trouble and you take it out in the back yard and shoot it.

    Diagnosing is when you figured out what the problem is and Troubleshooting is what you do to Diagnose a problem.
