I've identified a tweeter voice coil connection wire that broke, it's a hair fine wire and the break can be seen with a magnifying glass.

Can the voice coil be replaced with a stock item or is it a specialty Polk product? If so do they sell just the coil or does the whole tweeter need to be replaced?

Thanks for any info.

You can purchase replacement tweeters, thats about it.

Thanks, do those come from Polk or are there other dealers or distributors where they can be had?

It seems like the voice coil could be replaced if it could be identified or valued correctly.

I'm fixin to contact Polk support and figure out availability and what not.

    Thanks again

If I were in your position, I'd refund the money and reclaim those speakers! Failing that, I'd post a wanted ad in the flea market section of the forum to see if you can locate a single, matching tweeter for sale by a member.;)
