New binding posts for my SDAs

It took the seller 3 days to get around to shipping this weller therma boost.
If this dont get those posts hot enough then Ill give up and pay someone to do it.

Jeff at Soniccraft suggested I pick up a Weller 8200 Solder Gun ($30 @ Lowes) for soldering to binding posts.

Cool....The weller was 18.00 + 3.00 shipping and at that price its a bargain.

This sucker gets red hot and I mean it has a nice cherry red glow when you pull that trigger.
I had no problem getting the posts hot enough to make a nice solder joint.
And now that Im done I can listen to some music again.Its been almost a week.:eek:

Wow ,I wasnt expecting Better SQ but I got it.Its subtle but I can hare it,,,its like more is getting throug.Dont know if the eichmanns or the oxidized wire ends I cut off that gave me an improvement but I like it.
Now I just have to plan a complete rewire of the speakers with some of that new furutech alpha hook up cable (its too expensive) stuff.16 awg to keep it like polk designed them,,,,,just new wire.
