Have you checked the Odissey yet? Mini van wise I personnaly believe they offer the best product not counting that like many Honda product they probably have the best resale value.I had major issues with the Honda.
Currently, the minivans on my shopping list are the Mazda5, the Toyota Sienna, and the Kia Sedona. The minivan is really for my mother....she has mild dementia and may possibly have mobility issues in the future....and my dog, Bogi, who has a back knee. The lower stance of a minivan and the sliding side doors will be much better for them to get in and out when compared to my 2005 Toyota Highlander. The Highlander, after over 80,000 miles, has been completely trouble-free and I really hated to sell it. Regarding carrying capability, I really don't have much stuff to carry, although my Highlander was pressed into service by my sister to carry a full load of hard wood flooring.
As for Honda Odyssey, I've had issue with the transmissions of 2 Honda cars that were purchased new. Therefore, I am kind of wary of buying yet another Honda. -
