Bookshelf vs Towers on rears/surrounds

I currently run Paradigm 100 v2s on my rears and my surrounds. Im considering moving to 4 Paradigm Signature ADP3s on my 4 back channels. Will I notice a loss a loss of the towers in the rear?

huh?
are you trying to say will you notice a difference?
if so normally using bookshelfs is a little different than towers, as you can move the tweeter up higher on the wall or have better placement options. Towers normally don't get used to their full potential when being used as a surround as there isn't often much information given to those channels that would require as large of a speaker. Also if you have a sub and cross it over at say 80 the sides surrounds are not going to see really anything that a tower would have to handle.
Also if using a di/bipole speaker I prefer this over a tower. The sound is less localized and sounds more as a "surround speaker" I've found rather than just another speaker where I can pin point the location easily. -
I have done both. I would never use towers again...totally unnecessary in my opinion.
It is also difficult to get towers to the height that is ideal.
