OK Ok, sorry about all this. I own some forums and am a member of several but this has to be the worse thrashing on a new guy that I have seen for a simple mistake.
I was here just looking for a little advice and info about the speakers-All I know is that I listen to them.
Again my apologies. take the post down if need be. -
Kevin, I have tried to PM you on two occasions. When you did not respond, I tried another contact in the forum. I must be a large piece of ****.

REGARDS SNOWWell, I just pulled off the impossible by doing a double-blind comparison all by myself, purely by virtue of the fact that I completely and stupidly forgot what I did last. I guess that getting old does have its advantages after all -
Well the entire discussion about the accidental mis-use of the forum feels like a thrashing to me
Possibly you don't take it as that because you are a regular but I feel that way.
Catch you all in another lifetime.

That's odd because nowhere in your first post is there anything about wanting advice or info about your speakers, nowhere.Unfortunately I found it because I am going to sell all of my SDA's
I have a pair of 1.2's and a pair of 3.1's.
In the next few days I'll get them on Craig's list but I thought I'd give a heads up here before I did.
I bought them new and really have only used them for occasional listening.Political Correctness'.........defined

President of Club Polk -
I got a headache reading this thread.

I think there should be a thread for newbies to post stuff for sale, without ratings. If it promotes US club polk members find more gear that we never would have found, than Im all for it! Continue to have our FS thread with our ratings, to promote sale items between members. Just my common .02 cents worthMost of them only hear how loud it sounds, and the rest of us hear everything else -

I concur, wholeheartedly!

The fellow that had these for sale had and has no interest in CP his sole purpose was to hawk his crap here without following the rules. He claimed he bought these new and in all that time never bothered to join and then claims he got beat up for doing so  The problem is two fold as far as im concerned we have members that have been here for years adding to the problem by inquiring about them openly then we have moderators that ignore it. What the hell good are rules if CP isnt going to follow their own rules or enforce them?
I know these are big enough that they wont be shipped and so it has to be a face to face sale so no one gets ripped off and even if they did well it's their fault for buying from a newbie. That isnt the point nor is it a valid reason for this thread to still be here.
Someday one of you greedy f*ckers will get robbed at gunpoint or something similar responding to a for sale thread by an unknown and then perhaps the rules will be enforced.

+1, SNOW,
And no you haven't been roughed up, but 'politiely' informed about the rules. So relax. In fact, do a search and take a look at some threads where people were trashed for no good reason. We've been trying to clean that up around here so that new posters (like yourself) can feel more welcomed and less bullied by older members. And so far, I think things look pretty good....even in this thread...the 'rules' are a tool for keeping things civil and also 'safe' for sellers and buyers.
