No the RDO-194/SL2000 have small connectors. about 1/8" wide

The RDO-198/SL3000 have one large, about 1/4" wide, and one small connector, about 1/8" wide.

Wouldn't that be two LARGE connectors? That's what the SL2000 has; and the 194 is supposedly a direct replacement.

The 198 has one large, one small, and required the wiring harness to be modified with one smaller connector per tweeter when I converted my 1Bs to '198s. I never did find a wiring harness connector with an exact fit.

My 198s had no markings on them; and no country-of-origin labeling, either. I thought all imported consumer products had to have country-of-origin labeling either on the product or on the packaging.

Right you are Larry. I just replaced the 194's and for sure the connectors are both the smaller size.

Over the last few days I've been busy with getting everything ready for Saturday when my console should be back. Made up speaker cables for the mains and center. Also did some tweaks and mods to the Polk Audio SDA 2A's. Put in retaining rings for the passive radiators and main drivers, treated the PR and MW with Dynamat, and installed everything using mortite for sealing. These speakers are being used for mains until I get the 2B's and do all the mods and tweaks to them. Once the 2B's are ready, I'm thinking very seriously about moving the Polk SDA 2A's to the surround's and use a set of Polk Monitor 10A's for the rears!

I'm glad to read the 194's are so pleasing. Mine should be here any day now! The 2K's are well, only good for about 45 minutes to me.

I think you will be pleased with the 194's. Give them some time to break in, and you will hear a very much nicer sound than the old 2000's.
