Any feedback on this pre/processor...I can pick one up in mint condition for $1100. It's from the same fellow that I just bought the Rotel RMB-1095 multi-channel amp from. It gets superb reviews but I'm curious if any of you guys have ever had one in your system.

If you are into music this is probably not the preamp for you.
On another note , it's fully featured and very stable. It's rock solid and well worth the money if your building a theater first system.
Sound quality is personal , it's forward and bright to me. I don't personally care for it's tone. You might , for the money just buy it and flip it if you don't like it. The price is worth trying it out. You never know it could be your gem.Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time. -
IMHO, that would not be a step up in sound quality from your NAD...if you are looking at spending that kinda coin, why not a used Rotel 1069,1098 or 1068? Or like I just purchased a used Arcam AVP 700. I would put that Arcam up against ANY Denon,Onkyo,Integra or Pioneer. But if you have to have HDMI 1.3, these would not be your choices. You can find Rotels with the HDMI 1.3 upgrade, but not easy.Polk RTi A7's FrontPolk CSi A4 CenterPolk Tsi 100's SurroundOnkyo TX-RZ50:)Oppo BDP 83 (Collecting dust)MIT Terminator 3 Speaker CableMIT Terminator 2 IC's (Oppo 2 chan)Signal Cable HT TWOEpson PowerLite Home Cinema 1080Hisense 55 U8GBelkin PF 60 Power Center
