Time for me to upgrade! Therefore Ladys and Gents I submit the following gem for your inspection. My Pioneer Elite VSX-37TX receiver, I am asking $800+ freight. I have the manuals, but not the original box. Not to worry, I will pack it extremely well, and will insure the shipment to boot! The following info is from the Pioneer website. Post here or send me a PM if you're interested.

Can you say "360-degree sound field"? Pioneer's engineers incorporated THX-EX into the awesome VSX-37TX, so now you'll have a Surround Back (SB) channel for 6.1 sound (7.1, if you use two SB speakers). Movies will totally encircle you with the sound intended by a film's director, for a new level of realism. The VSX-37TX also features 120 Watts per channel x 5 in surround mode, as well as super-rugged construction for the purest sound quality. Its well-appointed back panel includes an AC-3 RF input, for added system options. The VSX-37TX is covered by Elite's two-year warranty.

    Frank,
asking 800.00 is alittle much.I know what it costs new and I fully understand wanted to get something back but I don't think your going to get all that for it.

Yes it's a fantastic receiver.I like it myself.I think a fair price starting would be about 600.00 or best offer plus shipping.

The A/V reciever market moves very fast these days,I personally don't care for it but thats how it is.

You own the M10x correct???If you sold the 37 plus the M10x together as a package,I bet you could get the 800.00 you want.....just my 2 cents.

In your add you didn't mention that you need a external amp to do surround ex........
    Dan
My personal quest is to save to world of bad audio, one thread at a time.

    Mantis,
All of the spec's from Pioneer are listed. If anyone is interested and has question's they can post them here. The MSRP on this unit was $1900. Here's a link to the -37tx page.

    http://www.pioneerelectronics.com/Pioneer/CDA/HomeProducts/HomeProductDetails/0,1422,676,00.html

My cost was just under $1200, and there is a few months left on the warranty.

BTW, Please don't post here anymore.
