    What's "the OPEC oil embargo," gramps? :p

    :eek::eek::eek: Gramps! LOL!

    Just be happy you didn't have to go through that time and hope you never do. A lot of people got hurt or killed in those long lines waiting to get into the gas station which at time the line was over a mile long especially in the summer where you couldn't sit there with the A/C on in the stifling heat. Sometimes you would have to wait for hours to get just a half tank of gas and God forbid if you got in line with the wrong numbered inpection sticker for that day, it would cause a riot!

    Bad time for America and it's citizens.

    Shoot him in the leg. Then ask questions. That way you have his undivided attention.

    I always tell him the shotgun's loaded in the basement every time he comes over.

    As far as "punk guy", I'm still working out (6'2" 220) and have decent amount of muscle mass, but he's going to school on a football scholarship and almost my size with 30+ fewer years of wear and tear on him.

    I think I need to solve this with my brain (or the rock salt loaded in "Ol' Nelly") :)

    My buddy is a 5' 10" fire plug with huge upper body mass and arms like a professional wrestler. When his daughters came into their teen years (both of which were beautiful) had the punk or nice kid callers knock on the door, he would answer the door with either a huge baseball bat or a shotgun leaning on his shoulder and very politely ask the youngster in. He never engaged them in conversation . . . he never had a problem with the "gentlemen" callers with his daughters. It was hilarious watching him go through this ritual and seeing the look on the kids faces. I don't care how much of a punk or self described badass would come to the door, they all had the same reaction!!!:eek::D

    Update: The young man dating my daughter and I had a heart to heart and this young man assured me he had nothing to do with the gas being taken from my car. However, we did determine his younger brother was most likely the culprit. Whether the older brother dating my daughter or not, I can't be 100% sure but I gave him the benefit of the doubt. No gas has been missing for about a month now.

    I did give him the application above plus the following link: http://www.websitement-tm.com/Darwin/Content/rules_for_dating_my_daughter.htm :D

    You're the men, nothing better than an honest heart to heart conversation. Make sure he brings back his filled application the next time he is around :D Who knows, that might be a funny topic for conversation let's say 10 years down the road ;)
