Same here Brock. I played in high school and dropped it my freshman year in College. I found I just couldn't compete at that level. However, I still follow the sport very closely.

Todd Martin was my favorite player back in the day. Poor chap never won a Grand Slam, but got close on several occasions.
I never had it like this where I grew up. But I send my kids here because the fact is you go to one of the best schools in the country: Rushmore. Now, for some of you it doesn't matter. You were born rich and you're going to stay rich. But here's my advice to the rest of you: Take dead aim on the rich boys. Get them in the crosshairs and take them down. Just remember, they can buy anything but they can't buy backbone. Don't let them forget it. Thank you.Herman Blume - Rushmore

I didn't start playing till I was 26, and fell in love with the game. Racquetball
    is a blast as well.

Brock if you only lived closer...

While I was playing tennis, my coach would never let me within a 100 yards of a racquetball court. Two different swings that can really mess with the mechanics of the other.

That is the truth!!! I tried to play raquetball with my Dad in the late 80's and damn if I didn;t miss almost every single shot. Tennis timing and especially the reach really screwed me. I kept whiffing at over head shots because I was used to the longer tennis racket and tennis balls don't come at you quite as fast as a raquet ball, I was always late taking the swing.

Even as a kid playing backyard baseball I could hit the ball really well, but I sometimes would catch myself swinging at the baseball like I would a top spin forehand on the tennis court, with that upward sweeping motion :p:p

I love the game and I'd love to pick it up again. Larry that would be fun if you lived closer.
