Carver Amazings and other Carver gear

I had no intention of keeping these, and am only minimally profiting in hopes that someone here will love this stuff to its death (hopefully many years from now) But to be honest, if you sell them for a profit, I'm not going to lose sleep over it. ;)

Carver components are all on Audiogon, and heavily discounted here for my fellow Polkies. As an added in incentive, if you buy 3 or more pieces, I'll throw in a Pioneer Elite DV-47ai! How about that?!

1) Carver Amazing Silvers in Oak. Incredible condition considering how hard they are to lug around. HEAVY!! Three 12" woofers and a 48" ribbon in each. I cranked these up pretty decent yesterday to ensure there wasn't any distortion. They sound rock solid. Ridiculous soundstage. Comes in original double boxes, and includes original manual and spec sheet. Pretty cool for a collector! Come with gigantic carver speaker cables. Giving them away at $450! Local pickup is quite seriously preferred.

2) Carver TFM-35 amp. Awesome condition, lamp/dimmer works. 250w/channel. Also comes with original box, manual, and warranty form. I saw one recently go for $330, which I thought was a sick price. This one might fetch a premium with it's extras, but I'll match it anyway. $330 + shipping. ($400 on Audiogon)

3) Carver C-20V Preamp. As I mentioned in my other thread, this has sporadically cut out on one channel when turned below 12o'clock. My guess is it's simply a weak solder point, but I'm not going to deal with it. I've got it listed for $150 on A'gon, but I'll take $90 + shipping from a Polkie. Includes original box, manual, remote, and warranty form.

4) Carver TX-8R Tuner. I realize the demand for an AM/FM tuner is decreased, but I have to imagine this is worth something to someone. Analog gauge lights up on this guy too. Includes original antennas, box, manual, remote and warranty form. Perfect for the Carver nut!! $100 on A'gon, $50 from a Polkie.

I feel like these are no-brainers guys, but feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. Not tons of photos, as all the components are packed up. Just know that they were well taken care of, and won't disappoint!

What's up Dane? Looks like you're ready to sell the shirt off your back there? A tremendous run of sales in the flee market. Do you need the money or are you looking to change things out? Because that's some solid gear above that not many would part with!

    Good Luck with the sale!

Yeah, I've been turning some gear recently. I've simply been running into deals I can't pass up, and paying for them with the family "emergency funds". Not a good idea, but I at least get the chance to experience new things and come out even. These are a lot of fun to listen to... I honestly hope it takes the buyer a few days to get here so I can enjoy them more first. ;)

Great job noos. Now I might have to take a road trip and sit back with one of your original Cokes for an audition.

Chris got them... After paying for them, I came to the conclusion that having them sit in a humid, musty garage for anything more than a week or two was a very bad idea.:(;)

    Just FYI to you buyers,
I've been plastered to my bed for the last 36 hours with a nasty virus. Can barely get out of bed to go to the restroom... needless to say, I haven't been able to ship out the preamp or tuner. Sorry for the delay. If I'm feeling better this afternoon, I'll do so then.
