Are these what you are looking at?

I would personally just keep those cables unless there is something wrong with them. I can't see you getting anything extra out of those cables, I read reviews on them both but without hearing them side by side...
    I dunno.
Maybe someone that has listened to them both will drop a link?

Haven't heard the AQ's you're referring to, but I had a chance to demo the MIT Shotgun S3's and all I can say is wow. I was floored.

    The MITs have my vote.

Well - keep us posted! :)

I have a set of Rockefellers on my rig from my Integrated Amp to my B&Ws - big step up from standard speaker cable.

So, if you do get the MITs - I'd be very interested to know if you compare the Rockefellers to the MITs and what you hear.

Thanks. Also, are the boxes at the speaker end, or amp end of the cable? How far are they away from the end of the cable?

I currently have my speaker cable suspended from the wall, and would like to do the same with the MITs.

Boxes are 24" from the speaker end. They aren't heavy, surprisingly light for the size, but dang they are big!

I'll probably suspend them from my B-Tech wall mounts - secured by a zip tie.

Not sure if I can hide them ....too high up to be behind my component cabinets and too big to shove behind my bookshelves.....hmmmmm

A few folks in past posts made mention of the size of the boxes on the Shotgun speaker cables. I didn't pay much attention to it. I was expecting them to be about the same size as the boxes on my S1 ICs.

When my S1.3 speaker cables arrived last week and I opened the package, I actually laughed when a saw how big the box is. "Xmas fruitcake in size" is a good description.

They are big and challenging to hide. However, they are not heavy. My S1.3s are biwired. Once I achieved a solid connection to my binding posts, I have not had any problem with them suspending from my speakers.
