    Almost the same thing happened to me about 10 years ago in Guangzhou (my late grandmother used live in the city). My mom and I got into a taxi at the train station on a rainy night and immediately I knew the taxi driver was most likely nuts....he was driving as if he was driving a getaway car after a bank robbery. We ended up on a one-way street that was blocked by a collapsed utility pole. He just made a U-turn and went the opposite direction....against the oncoming traffic!! I swear....I saw my life flash right in front of my eyes but at the same time thinking to myself, "Wow!! This is just like in the movies!!" :D I think my mom was screaming at the taxi driver when we got off at the hotel.

    Benny Hill would have been perfect for that vid.

    Let's see; no stop signs, no eyesight test required for driving license (an assumption). Yep seems to add up to that utter chaos!
