Despite the fact that he left AMA from the same hospital, he has a drooping right side of his face and weakness in his right side among other symptons. . . I don't have to be a doctor to know that there is something going on with his brain and that he should have been admitted.

That's signs of a stock he needs to see a doctor NOW.

I was thinking about something along those line yesterday. If one of his closed friend is willing to start a thread on such, I would be willing to donate as long as the close friend makes sure he does get medical care with that money. Hopefully someone we can paypal the money too. I wonder if George Daniel (being in the hospital system) would also like to be involved in admistrating this issue?

    Cheers!

Guys,, admirable suggestions of sincere and genuine concerns.I am waiting to hear from Ben,as there has been alot of "movement" behind the scenes from another polkie. At this point, lets wait and see/hear from Ben,as to what the plan is.I can say that a plan has been suggested that would allow the gear that Ben has to be completed/returned and allow him to focus on his health concerns.I'm in the back seat on this, and I'll let Ben and the driver chime in when they are ready. Thanks all,,actions like these, just demonstrate the kindness and far reaching concern of the Polk Nation.

I talked to him the other day, and he sounded a little out of it. Hope he is doing better as we got disconnected and haven't heard from him since.

I will try him again today.

Yes indeed. I was speaking with him last night and we got cut off because his phone is a piece of junk. He's supposed to call me back.

Guys,, if you are not considered an "emergency",, all a hospital is required to do is render immediate necessary care.

And if this is the same one that Ben left AMA from-- just sayin.

I understand what you're saying, Mr. G, and I don't see that as being uncaring or unfeeling. But if Ben entered the ER with a concussion that wasn't diagnosed, than I would suggest that it is very possible that he isn't entirely responsible for leaving against medical advice.

If he had been asked, "Who's the present President of the United States ?", with a concussion he may have answered, "Millard Fillmore".
Perhaps the hospital didn't notice the signs of concussion; I don't know.
Perhaps the hospital did notice but determined that it wasn't life-threatening and "expedited" his departure; I don't know.

I can understand the frustration that ER people have. I've been in ER's on the client end (with family asthma issues) and had to wait while others received treatment first that fell into the "I'm here for Junior's pre-school physical exam" arena.

In any event, a prayer for Ben; plug and chug.

Thanks guys. I am feeling much better. Last night I was up till 4 am working on things. I rebuilt a set of XO's, worked on an Adcom GFA-565 for a Polkie, and modded one of my Adcom's. My laptop took a digger the other day and the data for my jobs is in there. Please contact me if I am doing work for you.
    Thanks much.

Not that it matters, but just curious: since when is 11.5 considered a small shoe size? I wear size 12 and it seems like everybody has always commented how big my shoes are.

Do you guys up in Canada have a different sizing system?
