Gentlemen,
I've been a member here too long to only have 1500 posts... I've also been here too long to not remember if I've Karma'd anything.

The winner will enjoy a nice Master Edition of GETZ/GILBERTO. This CD has 10 tracks of smooth, casual samba/ jazz. Many will recognize the track "The Girl from Ipanema" (sung by Gilberto's wife) I've enjoyed this CD, and hope someone else can do the same.

http://www.amazon.com/Getz-Gilberto-Stan/dp/B0000047CX/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&s=music&qid=1276226818&sr=8-1

To be in, you must have at least 100 posts and reply "IN" along with your favorite jazz musician. (If you don't have one, I won't judge you, and you can still be eligible) ;)

Drawing will take place after my first day at the new job... which is Monday, June 14th.

IN, please. I guess Dianna Krall is my favorite, but when I listen to jazz it's usually on XM or a compilation CD.

Sounds like a cool Karma. In please. Hard to choose one favorite, but I like Billie Holiday a lot. Also, I like (of course who can't) pre-1960's Miles Davis. Thanks very much for offering it.

Taken from a recent Audioholics reply regarding "Club Polk" and Polk speakers:
"I'm yet to hear a Polk speaker that merits more than a sentence and 60 seconds discussion." :\
My response is: If you need 60 seconds to respond in one sentence, you probably should't be evaluating Polk speakers.....

    Gentlemen,
I've been a member here too long to only have 1500 posts...
That just means that you don't bother with all the B.S. posting that happens frequently (myself included), so congratulations on keeping it on topic and useful to others!

I don't really have a favorite Jazz musician, but I like some of the usual stuff, like Django Reinhardt, Dave Brubeck and a few others ... Some day I hope to make a week long Jazz pilgrimage to New Orleans.

    IN please!
    Alea jacta est!
