Help wiring a 1/4 headphone jack

I broke the 1/8in jack off my Grado headphones so I am rewiring with a 1/4in, but not sure where to put the wires. Any help would be great!

the two blue wire goes to the longest plate (post) at the top of the pics. Red goes to the middle (shortest post), white goes to mid-post.
