Issue(s) with my new I-sonic ES-2

Hi... I'm a newbie to the forum and have a question regarding my I-Sonic ES-2 which has the Firmware ver. 1.35 . I consider myself electronically inclined but for some reason my clock is not advancing. I follow the easy steps, and set the clock - let's say 8:33pm. It doesn't budge from that time. However, I noticed, if I activate the alarm on/off let's say 4 minutes later, it'll show 8:37pm. However if I come back time minutes later the time is still 8:37. But if I press the alarm on/off it'll advance the time to 9:47.
Another thing is that none of the call letters for the stations show up. I'm not sure if it's only a feature for an HD station that I actually get HD on. It's so frustrating. I thought this would be a good purchase since I've owned Polk bookshelf speakers... but I'm feeling some regret.
Does anyone have a clue as to what might be wrong? Sorry, I double posted because I think this forum is where I should have originally posted and I can't seem to delete or even edit my original post.
Thanks in advance

Unplug the power then plug it back in
This is a 1 time occurance for some electronic clock/radio style product from various manufactures and can pop up so randomly that there is no rhyme or reason to it, just a simple "quirk". Once you do the power reset 1 time you should never have to do it again (unless you leave your system unplugged for over a week.
