CSiA6 Crackling

Today I noticed my center channel is crackling on the voice tracks of any movie I put in...its not even 3 months old. Anything I can check to ensure its the actual tweeter or some other problem?

    Start by checking your connections on everything from the source to the speaker. If that's not it, try running different sources through the center channel to see if its the DVD player, cable box, etc. If you determine there is actually a problem with the center, Polk customer service is top notch...:)

    In addition to those suggestions, I also suggest swapping the center speaker with either your left or right speaker. Then you can tell whether the crackling follows the speaker or the output of the receiver.
