Hey everyone. Thursday is the release of the new U2 360: Live at the Rose Bowl in Blu Ray! I already have my "connection" at my local Best Buy holding one in reserve. All the reviews of this tour that I have read indicate that it is an all timer. 97,000 people were at this show! I saw U2 live at Camp Randall Stadium in Madison, Wi. back in '92 for the Zoo TV tour- one of the greatest things I have ever seen. I CANNOT wait to see this on my new home theater system. Any other fans out there?

There is only one song that U2 has put out that I like. I can't even remember what it is that goes to show how much I dislike them . . . mostly Bono as I know a couple of their other band members are excellent musicians.

I could give a damn about their politics or agenda. That never makes a difference to me as whether or not I'll buy a band's music unless it is so over-the-top like Sin

I like some of their songs a lot.

Bono certainly thinks U2 is the greatest band that Earth has ever seen.
I think that The (real) Who, prior to Keith Moon's demise, was the GBtEhES.

All opinions are, of course, equally valid (or invalid)... assuming that they're not presented as facts. Neither of the above statements is objectively factual.

I do enjoy Bono's op-ed pieces in the New York Times.

When you say enjoy, are you being sarcastic or are there examples of something that he has written that contained even a kernel of intelligence?

The Joshua Tree is a GREAT album. Every album since has been progressively worse.
If you will it, dude, it is no dream.
