Seeing how I scored a nice deal on Rocket 33s. I know a lot of people keep their cables the same for components.
I am looking for the following
For an Optical cable
Subwoofer cable as 6 meters or longer.

Power Cable

If anyone has a pangea power cable for a subwoofer, tv, and ps3 and is willing to sell, i will but that instead.
Thanks.

Polk Audio Monitor 50s
Subwoofer
Klipsch KSW-100

95 is just way to much to pay for an HDMI cable.
I could justify that for speaker cable...but not an HDMI cable.
    Thanks though for the offer.

I wouldn't waste my money on Audioquest HDMI or optical cables.

Don't worry face, I don't pay more for anything than what I can get at a store.
The only cable I would pay a lot of money for is a speaker cable, all other cables I try to find cheap as I can.
I already found a 7.5 meter audioquest cable for 25 that I am going to use for my subwoofer since my monoprice one keeps unhooking...it has a loose connection fro some reason...
And Maintis (Dan), I sent a pm.

PC, why are you getting carried away like this for cables for your little system? You bought all your cables originally, then made your own and now looking for highly priced cables that won't even matter with your system... Do you have too much money? If so, buy more gear or upgrade ;)

    Cheers!

No, My monoprice cable keeps coming off from my subwoofer , at the moment upgrading gear is pointless, I have barley used it and I just got it. So I can upgrade connections as money allows, so that later in time when I have more money I can really upgrade without worrying about cables. Eventhough the cables will not allows for any progress with my currant system, my next system will allow it.
I plan on skipping a few upgrade stages anyway. If I upgrade I will want to do it and get some RTI a9s, or some PSB synchronys....
I mean, I am upgrading the stuff that I can and cables are cheaper to upgrade and I have plenty of time to use the 50s...
As for upgrading, I have thought about it....but I would want to kind of save up and wait until I can really get good speakers.
Believe me....I would love to upgrade but I don't have the money, and I don't touch my credit cards.
So, right now, I can look for good deals on cables, so later on they won't matter...kind of get what I mean?

    Really?
I mean that is what I thought anyway. I mean I know that I won't hear leaps and bounds of improvement (I did hear improvement in clarity when I used the rocket 33s...I think my friends rockets may be bad...because they sound awfulc ompared to the ones I have...) with this current set up. I am aware that the next speaker I will want to get will run me at least a grand or more just for the pair then I will get like a fancy NAD amp to power it all so it will be pricey, and at the moment if I can spend 25 for a high grade subwoofer cable and use it for awhile, then later pool it all together and sell it as a whole set-up....you know...I have about a grand invested in it and I treat my stuff well, non smoking home, I have never maxed the volume...I would be deaf.... I plan on keeping this setup for as long as I can or until I can really get some money out of it.

I mean good when I say wise man. You have your plan set and you don't jump to what you can not afford at this point. There is no other way but go up with such attitude. Keep it up PC, you are doing good ;)

I hope so, I mean I am well aware of what "Great" sounding system will cost. I am just trying to make the best of what I have now, by upgrading the cables and hoping for some better sound. If I don't get any better sound I know I will when I further upgrade, and given I already have the cables I won't need to spend that money and can just focus on what is really important upgrading the amp and speakers...although the amp is a very nice sounding quality amp. I may just upgrade the speakers instead. I have been looking around and these seem like they could be alright. Definitive Technology BP7006, they are however 1300 for the pair, but looking at their specs, they look really nice, and I may even be able to skip the amp upgrading for the time being.
That alone though would take me probably until the end of the year or longer to safely get that kind of money.

You should start enjoying what you own at this point. Afterall, while it is not what many would consider high end it is still a quite decent set-up. Yes your HK could be used with upgraded speakers, maybe later on down the road you could check on the used in order to maximize your money. Keep an open on the FS, get acquainted with the pricing and once you are ready in a few years, simply jump on a steal deal :)

Yeah, to me, the sound is amazingly clear, I really can't imagine much improvement, where I see areas that could be improved...its hard for me to guess how much. You know?
I will just look around. Hopefully find a nice deal somwhere. :)
    So for now...cables please :)

Ok, So I am getting the Sub cable tomorrow in the mail.
I just bought the optical cable from Mantis, I don;t know when hes sending that but, that just leaves an HDMI....
I am looking for around 20 or so....unless you have one of the nicer ones then we can talk higher.
If anyone has a nice power cord like an audioquest or a pangea one that I could use for my subwoofer, I wouldn;t mind one for my tv either....
    Thanks.
